Introducing our Facilitators. Many of our licensees have taken the Global Protocol Academy coursework for personal enhancement reasons. Others have taken the training to add another dimension to their existing business or corporate training modules and are restricted from being listed on our website. The following have contracted with us as facilitators. To qualify as Global Protocol facilitators, trainees keep their training current through our annual retreats. Tranda Covington holds an MBA in Marketing and E-commerce from Loyola University at Chicago, IL. She has a Project Management Certificate from George Washington University, VA. She was one of the founders for a program that helps teach youth about money management, social etiquette, self-esteem, presentation skills, and other skills that are not taught in the classroom. She has over 15 years of experience working in fortune 500 companies. She currently works for a telecommunication company where she has worked in various management positions. Her goal is to enrich others with personal assets and skills that they can use for a lifetime.

Lynne Diamond-Nigh, Ph.D., is a professor of Romance languages, culture and literature at Elmira College in New York, where she teaches a course on civility, etiquette and protocol. For over 15 years, before becoming an academic, Dr. Diamond-Nigh worked in international business in personnel, training, and sales. She speaks French and Spanish fluently, and travels extensively. As the owner of WorldWise Protocol, she believes that it is through the elevation of civility that change can be accomplished in a permanent way. WorldWise Protocol specializes in academic protocol and etiquette; at the moment Dr. Diamond-Nigh is working on a book focused on the protocol and etiquette needs of incoming university freshmen.

Lisa A. James is regarded as one of the fore-runners of the Image Industry in the Caribbean region. A Management and Image Consultant with over 25 years experience, she provides corporate training, consulting and executive coaching to an extensive clientele. She holds an MSc. degree in Organizational Transformation & Leadership, is certified as an Image, Etiquette and Protocol Consultant, and is a Certified User of the Myers Briggs Type Indicator. She has served the AICI (Association of Image Consultants International) in various capacities for over 14 years.

Carin Manbeck

Carin Manbeck has a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations and Japanese language from the University of Minnesota and has served as an exchange student in Japan. She also worked for three years in Fukui as a Coordinator for International Relations at Fukui City Hall, specializing in programs promoting international awareness for the public.  Meanwhile, she also studied the Way of Tea, Kimono, and Taiko Drumming.  She has conducted educational seminars for JET (Japan Exchange and Teaching) and serves as a speaker for JETAA for new and aspiring JET participants. Ms. Manbeck teaches the Japanese Way of Tea at the Global Protocol® Academy licensee workshop.


Arlene Romaine

Arlene Romaine has lived in the Far East, Europe, and the Caribbean. She speaks Spanish, English, and French and has worked for The Berlitz School of Languages as a translator and as an interpreter. Ms. Romaine has a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with an emphasis in international marketing from the University of Connecticut. She studied French and economics at the Sorbonne, University of Paris, and attended the Cordon Bleu School of Cooking in Paris. Ms. Romaine teaches an international protocol curriculum at the Global Protocol® Academy licensee workshop.
